World Senior Citizens Day at Our Lady of Fatima Parish Nadera (21st August 2022)

On the 21st August 2022 the Parishioners of the Our Lady of Fatima Parish in Nadera commemorated the World Senior Citizens Day. This was a historic moment in the Parish as it was the first time that the Parishioners acknowledged the contributions of the Parish Seniors, particularly the Parish Pioneers whose hard work and dedication has made the Parish of Nadera what is today. The celebration was initiative of the Family Commission of the Our Lady of Fatima Parish, Nadera.

The program began with a special mass at 9:00am with Parish Priest Fr. Timoci Kolodisi as the main Celebrant. All the Seniors were anointed during the mass in commemoration for the day and their contribution to the faith in Nadera.

After the mass the everyone was treated to a scrumptious lunch and entertainment, after-which the pioneers of the Parish shared on their faith journey and the life long lessons that they have learned while building the faith in the Parish.

The program ended with gifts handed to the Elderly as a token of appreciation from the Parishioners.
