The Archdiocese of Suva  is looking to recruit the following positions in the Properties Office .

  1. Projects Officer

Position Description: The person will be in charge of projects within the Properties Department of  Archdiocese of Suva. These are projects including but not exclusively related to the utilisation of Archdiocesan Land, construction of buildings and infrastructure and the maintenance of Archdiocesan properties. Provide advice and assistance to the development and maintenance of Catholic Parishes and Schools.

Qualifications: The person we seek must be appropriately qualified either technically or academically or both, have prior experience in this range of works and has interest to contribute to the development of church properties. Skills in IT and Data management will be an advantage.

    2. Administration and Support Officer in the Properties Department

The incumbent will need to have a range of skills for the following responsibilities:
  • Maintaining Schedule of Properties.
  • Managing the various port folios of properties including freehold and leases of all kinds.
  • Maintaining records of lease payments
  • Rental collection.
  • Maintaining the Record of Assets of the Curia.
Qualification:
  • Competent in IT and Asset Management Software

  • Conversant with Maintaining Financial Records

  • Ability to manage an asset portfolio.

  • Manage stores.

  • Friendly disposition and quick learner.

Salary and conditions will be discussed on interview.

 

     3. Properties Clerk

The position requires some experience in para legal work.

  • Competent IT skills.
  • Ability to maintain and update property records
  • Be able to collect and maintain finance records.
  • Ability to liaise with interested lessees.
  • Ability to assist with projects.
  • Good at IT and with clerical skills.
  • Good communicator and friendly disposition.

Prior experience in para legal work will be an advantage.
