About Us

Caritas Archdiocese of Suva, operating as Caritas Fiji serves as the social arm of the Catholic church in our society. We associate with the poor as the chosen people of God and build a community of solidarity and concern for the poor leading to a culture of the love in all parishes.

Our Mission

We are committed to:

• Building and organizing the work of Charity- Establishing Caritas in the Spirit of Deus Caritas Est An Motu Proprio intime Ecclesia Natura.
• Responding to Emergencies by caring for the surviovors of Disasters 
• Strengthening and enhancing the capacities of pastoral workers and the small christian communities.

Who We Serve

Caritas Fiji places charity at the heart of society and associates with the poor by helping the Catholic church n Fiji become the prophetic voice for the people who are victims of social and ecological injustices. It operates within three thematic programs namely:

1. Social and Ecological Justice
2. Disaster Management and
3. Gender Justice
