FINANCE MANAGER

The Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Suva (RCA of Suva) invites applications from suitably
qualified and experienced finance professionals for the position of Finance Manager. This senior
leadership role is based at the Archdiocesan offices at 35 Pratt Street, Suva, and reports directly the
the Chief Operations Officer (COO).

ABOUT THE ROLE
The Finance Manager is responsible for effective management of the Archdiocese’s financial
operations, including accurate reporting, statutory compliance, sound stewardship of Church
resources, timely financial information, and robust internal controls.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage Finance Office operations, monthly accounts, reconciliations, financial analysis,
and annual statements for statutory audit.
Coordinate operational, project, and capital budgets; monitor performance and report
variances.
Ensure statutory and regulatory compliance; maintain and strengthen internal controls
Liaise with auditors and regulatory authorities; guide parishes on financial reporting;
supervise finance staff and deadlines.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.
• Minimum 6 years’ experience in accounting or a similar professional role.
• Strong understanding of IFS and accounting principles; MYOB experience preferred.
• Membership with the Fiji Institute of Accountants is advantageous.
