Familiarising themselves with the various Church documents on the topic the priests are also being made aware of the different processes involved with allegations of sexual abuse and how to deal with complaints and other related issues. Pastoral Care towards victims and their families remains a priority while every available help is provided to ensure justice is served.

The following topics were covered during the Workshop.

  1. Training of Child Protection
  2. Code of Conduct for Ministering to Minors
  3. Guidelines of Pastoral Counselling of Minors
  4. Guideline for Ministry of Minors

Archbishop Peter is committed to ensuring that all allegations of sexual abuse are investigated and dealt with accordingly.
